Email Executive

We’re looking for a web-savvy individual to join our growing team as Intilery’s Email Executive, reporting into our Client Services Manager. You will support our Client Services Manager in the day-to-day management of our clients’ email marketing accounts.

You will be a highly organised individual, committed to quality work and attention to detail, and passionate about the huge impact that quality email marketing campaigns can generate.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding the over-arching business objectives for our clients marketing activity and advising on the most appropriate email marketing activity for that account.
  • Working with our client’s brand teams to advise on creative and innovative email marketing campaigns in line with their overall digital marketing campaigns.
  • Understanding the importance of service and campaign program emails – and creating sophisticated trigger email marketing processes for our client’s website platforms – eg.
    • Renewal programmes, prospect warming, free trial conversions, behavioural triggers.
    • Understand database segmentation and targeting – using data cleverly to target users as effectively as possible.
  • You will be an effective and compelling copywriter – advising our customers on content and tone.
  • Reporting & optimisation will be critical to this role – to ensure on-going improvement across all email marketing campaigns and processes across our clients.
  • Analytics and benchmarking – you will be responsible for tracking the success of email marketing activity and providing detailed reports to clients.
  • Work with other experts within the Intilery team (ie. SEM, designers, developers, branding) to ensure the smooth running of all elements of all campaigns.
  • Keeping up to date with all the latest internet trends – whether it be the explosion of mobile or integration of email marketing with social media our clients range from travel and retail to financial services, large consumer brands to niece services – so you’ll work across an eclectic mix of campaigns – which should both excite and motivate you!

Your Experience

  • At least 12 months of client handling experience, or in a customer facing role, where you have regularly interacted with clients via email and telephone, and know how to do so professionally and courteously.
  • You should have experience of creating, implementing and reporting on email marketing campaigns, and be familiar with working with other email marketing platforms.
  • You do not need to be able to code HTML – our development team will do this for you – though this is advantageous.
  • Experience of Analytics packages (Google Analytics, Webtrends etc.) - goal setting, traffic source, content analysis should all be familiar terms to you.
  • You must be technically proficient across the Microsoft suite, and familiar and comfortable with browsing the Internet.
  • You must be a confident presenter and good communicator.

Skills you need

  • Organisation - the ideal candidate will have the organisational skills of a superhero and can demonstrate experience in juggling both tactical and strategic projects, and meeting often tight deadlines. You must be able to multi-task and prioritise effectively!.
  • Marketing ability - the successful candidate will understand the important principles of marketing, and be enthusiastic about implementing strategic campaigns for our clients in the digital arena.
  • Analytical ability – you will understand the importance of closely tracking marketing results, and will be proactive in tracking campaigns, proving campaign success, and confidently presenting your findings to clients.
  • Communication - you must be a confident oral and written communicator who enjoys building great client relationships and dealing effectively and efficiently with our development team.
  • Attention to detail - you will be an excellent tester and proof reader and you will constantly strive for high standards.

Dev Ops Engineer

As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be part of one of the most important technology groups within Intilery. As part of the DevOps Group within the Global Engineering organization, you will work across multiple global product teams supporting deployments for multiple customers.

The role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS.
  • Understand, implement, and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation.
  • Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS.
  • Implement systems that are highly available, scalable, and self-healing on the AWS platform.
  • Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes.
  • Develop automation to quickly and rapidly deploy instances from hardened images.
  • Using monitoring tools to find problems, resolve and/or escalate to development and ensure that we exceed our SLAs.
  • Build and manage development and testing environments, assisting developers in debugging application issues using tools.
  • Participate in the building of tools and processes to support the infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the creation of system support documents such as play books.
  • Operate the platform within our security and privacy guidelines.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience with Linux systems administration.
  • 2+ years working with AWS and familiarity interacting with the AWS APIs.
  • 2+ years working with a modern configuration management tool such as Chef, Puppet or Pallet thorough understanding of configuration management concepts.
  • Understanding of protocols/technologies like HTTP, SSL, JDBC, SQL, HTML, XML.
  • Application clustering / load balancing concepts and technologies.
  • Java development experience.
  • Solid experience and understanding of MySql and MongoDB
  • Solid experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies such as EC2, RDS, Redshift and S3.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient knowledge of virtualization technologies.
  • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience is required.

Head Of Marketing

An opportunity to join the team at Intilery looking after all marketing activities. With scope to progress to Marketing Director.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Development and implementation of the Brand strategy.
  • Developing the marketing strategy for new and existing products / services.
  • Developing strategic and operational marketing plans.
  • Overseeing implementation of the Marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR.
  • Ensure effective branded marketing communications including company website, print communication and advertising as part of these campaigns.
  • Working closely with the company’s Sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations.
  • Work closely with product management team to define marketing materials and programs.

Account Executive

Reporting to the Client Services Manager, the Account Executive will manage a number of accounts, looking after the needs of each client.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Research clients' products, services, plans, competitors and target markets.
    • For on-going support of using the Intilery platform to obtain maximum return of investment for the client.
    • For sales leads, produce material to support in pitches to the client.
  • Meet clients for briefings and present ideas/proposals to clients for approval/implementation.
  • Brief Intilery colleagues, and work with them to plan and implement solutions using the Intilery platform.
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Meet with clients to discuss strategy and report on progress.
  • Respond to clients' requests as they arise.
  • Take part in pitches for new contracts.
  • Keep appropriate records and handle invoices.

Skills and personal qualities:

  • A degree in business or marketing.

Technical Account Manager

This is your chance to work with a group that solves big problems for Intilery’s most strategic Platform customers.

As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) on the Intilery platform, you will be the key day-to-day technical point of contact responsible for building and managing the pre and post sales/operational technical relationship.

In this role, you will partner with clients and prospects to understand their business and strategic needs and enable their success by providing consultative services and creative solutions to challenging operational and technical issues using the Intilery Platform.

Client facing demeanour and technical aptitude is critical to identify opportunities, troubleshoot issues and advocate the Intilery Platform.

As an expert on the Intilery Platform, you will engage with Product and Engineering as a client sponsor, and work closely with the Client Services team to monitor the pulse of your client’s business and enable growth. In addition to managing existing clients, this role will work closely with the Marketing team to land new business.

Success in this role will be measured by increased engagement and strategic alignment with key clients as well as growing revenue from clients, both existing and new. Our team works hard, we have fun and we are looking forward to adding to the team!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operate as a dedicated technical product and industry expert for the Intilery platform.
  • Assisting in the new business sales motion, managing day-to-day technical solutions for assigned clients and partnering with the Client Services Manager to identify and uncover product adoption and upsell opportunities.
  • Project manage technical implementations and manage product issues and escalations in coordination with Support teams, delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the Intilery technology eco-system and its application to client and prospect needs.
  • Implement client solutions using the Intilery technology eco-system.
  • Help to document best practices in using the Intilery Platform and Technologies.

Skills and personal qualities:

  • This position is based in Chester and requires fluent business English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent) required.
  • Experience with technology-based Client Service environment is preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of digital b2c ecosystems.
  • Proficient technical understanding of web technologies (e.g. HTML, Javascript, CSS) – expert in Javascript.
  • Technical understanding of SQL.
  • Ability to fully scope custom technical solutions, integrations, and API solutions.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills and the ability to communicate and interact at all levels of the client organization.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, often autonomous, constantly evolving team environment.
