Jacob McMillen
Dev Ops Engineer
Tell us a little bit about yourself and your role within Intilery?
I keep services up to date, configure monitoring and alerting on all areas that could go wrong. I also manage the AWS services and make sure we are compliant with ISO 27001.
What’s something exciting that you’re working on at the moment?
Currently I am updating our graphing, this means that we should be able to configure more alerting on areas that we couldn’t before and therefore will have an even more stable service.
How do you spend your time when you’re not working?
At the moment, I mostly spend time on my computer or playing with my pet gerbils, but when covid is less of an issue I’m looking forward to going to the cinema and having days out.

Favourite Book? Honestly not read a book in years so I couldn’t say.
Favourite Band/Musician? An artist named Sapphire that I listen to a lot on spotify.
Favourite Animal? I love both cats and gerbils.
Signature Dish: Cinnamon rolls, I’m able to make some really good looking ones that also taste great.
